    Description

    New 2.5” x 9.75” refillable filter cartridge with inlet/outlet frits, and inlet/outlet polypropylene sponge.  The barrel is white with white end cap and food grade butyl rubber gasket. The cartridge is manufactured from virgin food grade polypropylene by injection molding, is extremely durable, and well made. We have evaluated a number of empty refillable filter cartridges and found this cartridge to provide outstanding performance and ease of maintenance. The caps seal tightly and do not leak, even under high pressure. Unlike a number of filter cartridges, this cartridge does not plug, even when using powders like calcite or alkamag. Excellent for use with a variety of  media, including powders, ion exchange resins, carbon, KDF, mineral stones, and more.
    We use the cartridges for all of our custom filter cartridges. Media packs well in the cartridge, water flow is exceptional through the cartridge with minimal fines generation, and we have experienced no leaks or plugs, even with powder media.
